The way it works and the sound quality created by his invention convinced me that I had build my own.
Unfortunately, the possibilities for implementation of 360 degree speakers were limited and very much dictate the design. Nevertheless, I was able to change the look in a different way by the use of floating cones! This steampunk Ætherplayer is for use on any computer, tablet and smartphone. Internally it operates on a Raspberry Pi B+ and the amplifier from a USB speaker set. The system software is Volumio. A 2800mAh battery pack provides tuneful sound for 6-8 hours. A must in every office or on every factory floor!
